Soooo I friend of mine who is probably the only person following this blog told me about a new single by a great band called Shiny Toy Guns. For those of you who don't know who that is, they have been around since 2002 and have released two albums. Four actually but the first two were demo versions of the third one. We Are Pilots is the name of this album and their latest one is titled Season of Poison. Their latest endeavor is a cover of Peter Schilling's "Major Tom (Coming Home)", not to be confused with David Bowie's "Space Oddity". Link to DL.

Major Tom is a character in David Bowie's song, "Space Oddity," which confused me too. Perhaps that was Peter Schilling's inspiration. Maybe not. I actually don't even know who Peter Schilling is.
